Your activities as a Quality Engineer will include:

• Analyzing, assessing and registering external and internal complaints (strong emphasis on analysis);
• Structured problem solving through various tools (including Six Sigma, 8D reporting, 5S and Control plan);
• Initiating and realizing improvement projects within the entire organization including production, logistics and purchasing;
• Optimizing and continuously improving instructions and procedures on the work floor;
• Maintaining our quality system.

In addition, they expect you to be frequently on the work floor to ensure correct compliance with procedures, perform internal audits and evaluate and report the results obtained. You communicate directly with the customer when it comes to quality issues and improvement initiatives.

Functie-eisen / Requirements

To do justice to this challenging and responsible position, you should at least have:

• Good command of English languages;
• MBO+/HBO work and thinking level;
• Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or high-tech industry;
• Knowledge of and experience with the Office package, more specifically Excel;
• Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001:2015;
• Knowledge of and experience with Power BI;
• Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems (ISAH);
• Knowledge of and experience with various Quality tools such as Lean Six Sigma, 5S workplace standardization, 8D reporting and control plan;

In addition, they expect you to be able to read and interpret a technical drawing correctly and you have a strong affinity with legislation and regulations in the field of health and safety and the environment.
